== Synopsis ==
In another galaxy, in another time the once great Old Republic throve a grew under the watchful eyes of the Senate and Jedi Knights until it began to rot due to corruption within the government. Promising to return the Republic to its former glory Senator Palpatine was elected President and then declared himself Emperor. Palpatine was manipulated by those who brought him to power and through treachery and deception he exterminated the Jedi Knights, and his Imperial governors began to institute a reign of terror across the galaxy.
