Tatooine was a dry desert planet orbiting twin suns.
History

Due to its position in a binary star system Tatooine circled two suns G1 and G2 far away and stable enough to support life on the dry desert world. The planet composed of environments of sodium-rich sands and flats. From space Tatooine would appear to look like another sun due to the amount of light the planet received from it's binary stars.[1]
