Devastator (Imperial-class)

The Devastator was an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer used by the Galactic Empire under the command of Darth Vader and Lord Nenevanth Tion.

History

Vader's Command

Following the disappearance of Nenevanth Tion's during a "hunting trip" to Alderaan, Darth Vader was once again given command of the Devastator during which time he used it during a blockade of the planet Toprawa following attack by a Rebel Cell who managed to locate the plans for the Death Star.

Following the Tantive IV's escape from Toprawa the Devastator under the command of Darth Vader intercepted the ship above the desert planet of Tatooine. The Tantive IV in an attempt to defend itself and complete it's mission traded blows with the much larger and overpowered Star Destroyer. The Devastator managed to disable the blockade runner after disabling its main reactor and drive and subsequently began using it's tractor beams and bringing it within it's main hanger.
