Tagge seemed to have an antagonistic relationship with the Sith Lord. He particularly doubted the powers of the Force, which Vader esposed.
Tagge (Pronounced: Tăg) was an General with Imperial forces, and an Imperial Senator.
Biography
Tagge was present aboard the Death Star during a meeting with seven other Imperial senators, and later Governor Tarkin and Darth Vader. During the meeting, he presented his case for the non-fully operational Death Star's vulnerability to the Rebel Alliance, and argued with Romodi about the support they received in the Imperial Senate. When Tarkin arrived, he informed him along with the others of the Imperial Senate's dissolution by the Emperor.[1]
Personality & Traits
His attitude was that of someone who took every opportunity to get ahead to gain his position, this reflected him as some sort of twisted genius with an air of sliminess to others around him. Many respected or feared him, despite or because of these traits. Tagge was wise enough to not overlook the threat posed to the Death Star by the Rebel Alliance, recognizing the advantage they possessed in starships, pilot skill and “reactionary fanaticism”.[1]
